    Low voltage installation Las Vegas

JDM Automations provides low voltage installation in Las Vegas for homes and businesses, also serving Henderson, Summerlin and North Las Vegas, starting with a free on-site consultation.

JDM Automations designs, wires and installs the low-voltage systems that homes and businesses across the Las Vegas valley run on — security cameras, structured cabling, networking, access control, smart home automation and audio video.

Low voltage installation Las Vegas: planning your installation

Low voltage covers the systems in a building that carry data and signal rather than line-voltage power: security cameras, network cabling, Wi-Fi access points, door access control, speakers, TVs, thermostats, locks and the control systems that tie them together. Getting those systems right is mostly about planning and cabling — where the runs go, how they terminate, and how everything is documented afterwards.

JDM Automations is a family-owned and operated low voltage company based in the Las Vegas area. We handle the full path: walking the property, designing the system, pulling and terminating cable, mounting and configuring the equipment, and then showing you how to use it. Residential and commercial work both welcome.

Low Voltage Services We Provide in Las Vegas

Our work falls into four groups. Security and access covers camera systems, NVR and cloud recording, video doorbells, smart locks and PDK access control. Networking and cabling covers Cat6 and Ethernet runs, structured cabling and wiring panels, network racks, UniFi and Ubiquiti networks, Wi-Fi coverage design and fiber where the situation calls for it.

Smart home covers automation, lighting control, thermostats and RTI control systems. Audio video covers home theater, whole-home audio, TV installation and outdoor entertainment. Most projects combine several of these, which is exactly why having one team plan the cabling for all of them at once saves money and mess.

Why Las Vegas Properties Need Low Voltage Done Properly

Desert conditions are hard on hardware. Attic temperatures in summer are brutal on cable and on anything mounted in them, sun exposure degrades poorly rated jackets, and dust gets into equipment that has not been sealed properly. We route and rate cable with that in mind, and place equipment where it can stay cool.

Construction styles vary widely across the valley too. Newer master-planned homes often arrive pre-wired with Cat6 and a structured wiring panel, which makes expansion straightforward. Older neighborhoods usually have no data cabling at all, so runs have to be planned around stucco, block, tile roofing and limited attic access. We handle both, and we tell you honestly which approach makes sense for your building.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What counts as low voltage work?

Anything that runs on signal or low-voltage power rather than standard household current: security cameras, data and network cabling, Wi-Fi access points, access control readers, speakers, intercoms, thermostats, smart locks and control systems. It does not include line-voltage electrical work such as panels, outlets or fixture circuits.

Do you work on commercial properties as well as homes?

Yes. We install low-voltage systems for both residential and commercial properties, including camera systems, structured cabling, networking and access control for offices and small businesses.

Can you install equipment I already bought?

Tell us the make and model during your free on-site consultation. Compatibility, condition and the installation scope are confirmed before we recommend using or replacing existing equipment.

Do you serve businesses as well as homes?

Yes. JDM Automations provides low voltage installation for homes and businesses in the Las Vegas valley and listed nearby service areas. We confirm the requirements for your property during the consultation.

    How long does installation take?

Timing depends on the equipment, cable routes, wall construction and access to the property. We confirm the expected installation schedule during your free on-site consultation rather than promising a fixed duration.

Do you offer a free on-site consultation?

Yes. Call (702) 874-8777 or request a consultation through our contact page. Our hours are Monday–Friday and Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Call or text during business hours.
